Chocolate, It's What's for Breakfast

CHOCOLATE, IT'S WHAT'S FOR BREAKFAST!!

Chocolate, it's what's for breakfast!!Chocolate is happiness. Chocolate is warmth. Chocolate is love.   Choosing the right chocolate makes all the difference in the world. We love dark chocolate and hope you do too. The darker the chocolate (choose between 72-85% cocoa), the better. Rich in iron, fiber, magnesium, copper, manganese, along with potassium, phosphorus, zinc and selenium. And is rich in antioxidants that help support your immune system. Which makes this breakfast one of my absolute favs.
Make ahead, put in an airtight container or a zip lock bag and frost right before consuming as the maple butter melts quickly at room temp. Enjoy!!
Paleo Chocolate Donut with Maple Butter Icing
Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Paleo Friendly, Refined Sugar Free
Ingredients:
1 box of Simple Mills Chocolate Cake Mix
3 organic free range eggs, room temp
1/3 cup of water, room temp
1/3 cup unrefined coconut oil (if solid, gently melt, let cool before adding to mix)
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
1 jar of Organic Maple Butter (found in health food store or local health market)

Equipment:
mini bunt pan

Using a 1/3 dry measuring cup
Place batter into each mold, tap gently on counter to release any air bubbles.
Place in a preheated oven @ 350 degrees
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
I started checking mine @ 8 mins because everyone's oven is different.
Once out of the oven, let sit for 10 mins then turn onto a cooling rack for 20 mins to completely cool. Ice immediately or place in tight sealed container. When icing, make sure maple butter is room temp but not syrupy. Put enough to cover top, let drip over sides and top with shredded coconut or any crushed nut you desire. Bon Appetit!!
